This award is decided by judges and coaches, and is awarded to the best solo poem/performance in the competition. This poem and performance should insightful, riveting, powerful, profound, and inspired. This award carries a $50 prize, generously donated by ATB Financial.
Coaches are encouraged to wait until the end of both preliminary rounds (which conclude on Saturday at 2 pm) before voting to ensure they have seen as many performances as possible.
