This award is decided by judges and coaches, and is awarded to the poet who demonstrates the most supportive, encouraging, caring, and enthusiastic character during the competition. This award carries a $50 prize, generously donated by ATB Financial.
Coaches are encouraged to wait until the end of both preliminary rounds (which conclude on Saturday at 2 pm) before voting to ensure they have seen as many of the poets and their interactions with one another as possible.
